Jacqueline A. Vatter-Moore (Age 54) On Friday, February 19, 2010, following a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Devoted mother of Erika and Brett Moore; beloved daughter of Adriana and Peter Vatter. Loved by long-term companion Robert Griffith, retired Navy officer. Sisters and brothers-in-law Giselle and Dr. Thomas McDonough of Denver, CO, Paulette and Jeffrey Kirby of Petersburg, WV. Cherished by the Aviles, Bunster, Dourthe, Laddon, Lataste, Moore, Soltau, Vatter and Volker families residing in Santiago, Chile, the Washington, D.C. area, Princeton, NJ and Europe. Survived by numerous and loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. For thirty years she served her country as a respected and dedicated nurse at National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 917 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852 on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 11 AM with a reception to follow. A private interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
