Patricia Mayyasi passed away on July 21, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Sam Mayyasi of Rockville, MD; adoring mother of Doug MacDiarmid. She leaves behind her daughters-in-law, Helen and Amy MacDiiarmid; her grandchildren Zoe, Trevor and Nolan; her step-daughter Mona Mayyasi; stepson Kim Mayyasi; and two grandchildren Erica and Alex. She was an active member of the Episcopal Church of the Ascension and Elder Wisdom Circle. She worked for such companies as Lehn & Fink and Marriott until retirement.
